I-mobile launches slew of phones

I-Mobile, a Thailand-based mobile phone maker, launched eight additions to its growing range of affordable mobile phones.

In its attempt to broaden its market share, president of Samart I-Mobile, Thananan Vilailuck says the company distinguishes itself from other mobile manufacturers by focusing on quality and best value for money.

The new models from I-Mobile are the 106C with CDMA, 232CG, TV 638CG, TV 536, TV 620, TV 628, TV 550 Touch and TV 650 Touch.

The highlights of the launch were the I-Mobile TV 550 Touch and TV 650 Touch which are the first touchscreen phones with an auto TV tuner from the company.

Both have built-in antennas for viewing free-to-air TV, MP3 player and Bluetooth capability.

One difference is that the TV 550 has a VGA camera and the TV 650 has a 3-megapixel camera.

Both models also come with dual SIM with dual standby functionality.

The TV 550 costs RM390 and the TV 650 is priced at RM600.
